The UN 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development committed to “reduce the negative impacts of chemicals which are hazardous for human health and the environment“ Issues related to life cycle of chemicals including chemicals management at source, substitution of hazardous chemicals, risk management, circular economy, and supply chain communication are focuses concerned by industry and government. This conference in Taipei will focus on global chemical management goal and policy, inviting experts from US, EU, Korea, Vietnam and Taiwan to participate the discussion and share their experience on implementation, strategic approach to chemicals management and future plans regarding sound chemical management.
